Why replace your car seat cushion foam?

Over the years and the kilometres, the original foam in your seats ends up flattening, sagging and losing its support. The result: you sink in, you can feel the structure underneath, your back complains on long trips… In short, you're no longer comfortable in your car.

Good news: there's no need to replace everything. Just changing the seat cushion foam is usually enough to bring back a firm, welcoming and comfortable seat — like on day one. It's one of the most effective restorations in terms of value for money.

Our manufacturing: 100% polyurethane, made in Europe

At Top Sellerie Auto, we are manufacturers. We design our own foam moulds and produce our seat cushions by injection of high-density polyurethane in our European workshops. That's a real quality stamp:

– Controlled density (40 kg/m³) and firmness, for a cushion that won't collapse after a few months.

– Exact replica of the original foam shape, for hassle-free fitting and an invisible result.

– Compliance with automotive requirements (durability, fire behaviour, ageing).

Each reference is designed from the exact seat model, avoiding compromises: no universal foam that flattens after 6 months.

A range fitted to many vehicles

Our catalogue covers a wide variety of brands and models, from classic saloons to the most popular utility vehicles on building sites: Renault Master, Trafic, Kangoo, Peugeot Partner, Boxer, 205, 504, Citroën Berlingo, Jumper, Mercedes Sprinter, Vito, Volkswagen Crafter, Transporter T5, Ford Transit, Iveco Daily, Fiat Ducato, and many more. If your vehicle isn't on the list, get in touch: we may be able to study a custom foam for you.

When the foam is shot, refresh the whole thing

If you're replacing your seat cushion foam, the original cover has often been through the years too. It's the perfect moment to kill two birds with one stone and give your interior some real character.

Discover our front seat covers made to measure, in leather, faux leather or fabric, and combine them with our foams for a complete restoration. To go further, also have a look at our rear bench covers, our full upholstery sets and our matching headrests.

Installation: within reach of a careful DIYer

Replacing a seat cushion foam is done after removing the seat from the vehicle (a few bolts to undo). Plan around 1 to 2 hours per seat, taking your time. You'll need basic tools, plus some replacement clips you'll find in our Hardware category. If you'd rather have it fitted, our team can take care of removal, replacement and refitting in the workshop.
